To Be Repaired
Mary has come through again. John will be picking up machines tomorrow at Quilts and More. My machine is going to visit the cleaners. Hopefully it is repair-able. We will just have to wait and see.
I have just rearranged my upstairs sewing space to accomodate the 2nd Pfaff. The dining room table awaits the Grand Quilter. No reason now to ignore that half finished quilt.
Eventually my sewing life will go back to normal. But for the time being, turn on the fans and continue piecing!
What To DO!!!
My main machine has jammed....
My #1 Pfaff seems to have decided it is not going to work any more. So what to do!
Send it out to see if John can clean and hopefully release the jam. Or use one of the other (shh so Paul does not hear) 6 machines I have. Or just use the new(er) Pfaff and hide the 7570 until I can bear to look at it.
What to do... I think I will call Mary and see if John is still reparing machines. Maybe it just needs a good cleaning. But it made a loud noise telling me that! LOL!

A Quilter's Afternoon Delight
A delightful afternoon spent on the deck, squaring up and trimming blocks, listening to Eleanor on the i-Pad and coordinating fabrics for blocks in another quilt.
Oh, yes! I can't forget the scraps for mom's rugs that resulted from cutting strips for another Seminole style table runner.
The blocks on the right are from "Trail's End" which is a notecard pattern by Cathy From Candlelite Quilts. I now have all 5 of Cathy's notecard quilt patterns. This will be the second one, but I have plans for all five patterns.
Summer is quietly heading towards its conclusion. I will miss these lovely afternoons on the deck later on when the weather gets too cold. But for now, I am grateful that I have the time to enjoy another quilter's afternoon on the deck.
Happy Quilting!
