We are heading towards October !
I cannot believe how quickly the month of September has flown by!
We have been getting lots of new merchandise into the shop and having many new visitors.
It is gratifying to see how well our efforts have been received.
Oh yes, we includes my sister Cindy who very quietly and efficiently works behind the scenes, and Paul, my DH who works diligently on the long arm when I am busy with Open Sew and working with customers. It is truly a family affair!
A quick reminder, in these last days of September, about our September Sales.

Fat Quarter Sale - buy six and get 2 FREE
Sadly, on October 1 this sale will end.
Recently we received two new kits from Riley Blake,
Thomas the Train is a wonderful close to twin sized quilt.
Also in stock now is a cute Tree Wallhanging from Riley Blake.
This will make a great gift or decoration and comes in a lovely keepsake box.
Both of these are kits and fall under the Sepember Kit Sale (even thoughthey are new!). So why not stop in to check them out.
On a personal note, I am working (once again) like a crazy woman on several projects.
For me - I am making the "Bats and Boos" quilt which was a sew-along with Pat Sloan a couple of months ago. Progress is slow but I am getting there!

I began a stitch along with Stitchin' Heaven on Labor Day. I have made progress but still have aways to go.

Also on my stitching table is a shop sample of a Three Yard Quilt from a Fabric Cafe publication using some Anna Maria fabric as the feature fabric. This has been fun to do. All that remains is the outside border. I should be able to finish this in my next sewing session!

Things have been busy but a good busy. The pandemic still rears its head from time to time with the local high school being in virtual learning this week. But we have been healthy and will hopefully remain so in the future. So keep washing your hands and wear your mask when you need to and maybe we will get through this!
